What the Chaldean calculator works out
Chaldean numerology reads two things: the date you were born and the name you use. The calculator takes both and returns the numbers a numerologist would work out by hand, in a few seconds and without an account.
Your Birth Number is the day of the month reduced to a single digit, and it describes your natural temperament. Your Destiny Number adds every digit of the full date and points to the direction your life tends to take. Your Name Number comes from the Chaldean letter values, which run from 1 to 8 and follow the sound of each letter rather than its position in the alphabet; 9 is kept apart. When the name number sits well with the birth numbers, the name supports you. When it does not, a small spelling change can help, which is what a Name Correction looks at.
The Lo Shu Grid places the digits of your birth date on a three-by-three square. Filled cells, empty cells and complete lines each carry a meaning, from a full plane of action to a missing number that shows where you have to make a deliberate effort. The calculator also gives your Kua Number, used for favourable directions, your Personal Year, which sets the tone of the twelve months from your last birthday, and, if you enter it, the vibration of your mobile number.
